My son is 20 and hes just bought a Peugeot 106 and is getting quotes at £2300, I think this is ridiculous. I have tried getting it in my name and putting him down as 2nd driver but it goes up to around the same price once I add him. Surely there must be some cheap insurance out there somewhere for him. All he does is go to work and drop his girlfriend off, the car is only a 1.1 so is not powerful and ive seen him drive, he is sensible. Hope somebody can help.

Hi. I just bought a BMW 135i Convertible. Where can I find cheap car insurance for this car? I’ve checked the major ones like Geico but the quotes they list out are pretty expensive in my opinion.
Note: Didn’t get a 7 Series. Changed my mind at the last minute.

I live in the uk. 19 years old and want to get a car.
I have tried quotes and the cheapest i have found per year is around £5000, which is a JOKE.
i want to know how to make it cheaper.
My dad is a taxi driver so i cannot use his insurance

The car on the quote was a
vauxhall corsa 1.2-1.4
and i choose third party fire and theft
I,ve tried go compare and may others and the cheapest i can get is £5000.

do you know any cheap insurance providers who could give a reasonable quote for a 17 year old, with a pass plus on a full UK licence, as go compare is giving quotes of £3000+ which if far too much for a student, plus this is only third party, please help!
